Asst. Prof. Wutigorn Kongka holds his bachelor and master degree in Fine Arts from Silpakorn University. With 20 years experience in art industry, Kongka process a robust knowledge and diverse experiences in fine art in almost every aspect – in practice, theory and history. He has shown the credibility in the field of contemporary art. He was invited to be a committee Young Thai Artist Award by SCG foundation and Early Year Project by Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, a group-head operation of Traces of Siamese Smile exhibition. In 2018, he was Art Manager of the 1st Bangkok Art Biennale (BAB) overseeing all process of production and installation. Moreover, he contributed to the training programme for young talent to join with the BAB called ‘Dek BAB’ (BAB Kid). Kongka is an artist and lecturer, a prolific art academic, at the Fine Arts
Department, Faculty of Architecture, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang.
ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ วุฒิกร คงคา จบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีและปริญญาโทจากสาขาจิตรกรรม จากคณะจิตรกรรม ประติมากรรมและภาพพิมพ์ มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร ด้วยประสบการณ์กว่า 20 ปี ในวงการศิลปะ วุฒิกร เป็นผู้มีความรู้เกี่ยวกับศิลปะรอบด้าน ทั้งแนวคิด ทฤษฎี เทคนิคเชิงปฏิบัติ และประวัติศาสตร์ของ ศิลปะร่วมสมัย ด้วยความสามารถและชื่อเสียงที่น่านับถือในวงการศิลปะ วุฒิกร ได้ถูกเชิญให้เป็นกรรมการตัดสินการประกวดงานศิลปกรรม มากมาย เช่น งานศิลปกรรมรุ่นเยาว์ โครงการบ่มเพาะและสร้างเครือข่ายศิลปินรุ่นใหม่ (Early Years Project) ในปี พ.ศ. 2561 เขาได้รับ บทบาทสำคัญเป็นผู้จัดการฝ่ายศิลปะ รับผิดชอบการผลิตและติดตั้งผลงานศิลปะ ใน บางกอก อาร์ต เบียนนา เล่ ครั้งที่ 1 รวมถึงส่งเสริมโครงการฝึกหัดการทำงานร่วมกับงาน บางกอก อาร์ต เบียนนาเล่ ภายใต้โครงการ 'Dek BAB' ปัจจุบัน วุฒิกร คงคา ดำรงตำแหน่ง ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ และ อาจารย์ประจำ ภาควิชาศิลปกรรมคณะสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์ สถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าคุณทหารลาดกระบัง
