Dansoung Sungvorashapan earned his BA in Art Education in 1982 and in the same year, he was awarded with 3rd honorary prize (Painting) of the 28th National Exhibition of Art. During his artistic career, he became interested in photography. Therefore, he began to teach himself photography and founded a photography studio for both magazine photoshoot and his own artwork.
With his background in painting and printmaking, Sungvorashapan is interested in photographic work that has a mixture between photography and painting. At that time, it was the beginning of digital imaging, he then used a digital photography system in his photographic art, especially in the form of Photo Manipulation. He continued to develop his work until the year 1997 financial crisis known as Tom Yum Kung Crisis that caused him to stop working on art and photography for decades and turned to study natural ecology. He has created a natural classroom project for his children and family members to be homeschooled. Until his children return to a regular school system, he therefore resumes his work on art and photography. To date, he has been seriously discussing environmental issues through his artwork. Sungvorashapan has two major solo exhibitions in Bangkok: Last Homo Sapien (2003) and A Tale of Dystopia (2017). Nowadays, he opens a small photography gallery in Bangkok, called Foto Dokkma Gallery.

แดนสรวง สังวรเวชภัณฑ์ จบการศึกษาปริญญาตรี ด้านศิลปะศึกษา (Art Education) ในปี พ.ศ. 2525 และในปีเดียวกัน ได้รับรางวัลเกียรตินิยมอันดับ 3 สาขาจิตรกรรม ศิลปกรรมแห่งชาติ ครั้งที่ 28 ระหว่างที่เขาทำงานศิลปะ เขาเริ่มมีความสนใจในภาพถ่าย เขาจึงศึกษาการถ่ายภาพด้วยตนเองและได้ก่อตั้งสตูดิโอถ่ายภาพสำหรับทั้งถ่ายภาพให้กับนิตยสารและทำงานศิลปะของเขาเองด้วย
ด้วยพื้นเพด้านจิตรกรรมและภาพพิมพ์ของเขา แดนสรวงสนใจงานภาพถ่ายที่มีรูปแบบผสมผสานกันระหว่างภาพถ่ายและจิตรกรรม ในช่วงเวลานั้นเองเป็นยุคเริ่มต้นของดิจิทัลอิมเมจ เขาจึงนำระบบดิจิทัลมาใช้ในผลงานศิลปะภาพถ่ายของเขา โดยเฉพาะในรูปแบบ Photo Manipulation เขาพัฒนาผลงานอย่างต่อเนื่องจนถึงปี พ.ศ. 2540 ช่วงเกิดวิกฤตเศรษฐกิจต้มยำกุ้งขึ้น ทำให้เขาหยุดการทำงานศิลปะรวมถึงงานถ่ายภาพไปนานนับสิบปี และหันมาศึกษาระบบนิเวศน์ธรรมชาติ เขาได้ทำโครงการห้องเรียนธรรมชาติให้กับลูกๆ และคนในครอบครัวของเขาเรียนแบบโฮมสคูล จนกระทั่งลูกของเขากลับเข้าสู่ระบบการศึกษาที่โรงเรียน เขาจึงกลับมาทำงานศิลปะและภาพถ่ายอีกครั้ง เขาพูดถึงประเด็นด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างจริงจังมาจนถึงปัจจุบัน แดนสรวง มีงานแสดงเดี่ยวครั้งสำคัญของเขาสองครั้งคือ Last Homo Sapiens (พ.ศ. 2546, กรุงเทพฯ) และ A Tale of Dystopia (พ.ศ. 2560, กรุงเทพฯ) ปัจจุบันเขาเปิด Foto Dokkma Gallery ซึ่งเป็นแกลเลอรี่เล็กๆ สำหรับแสดงงานภาพถ่ายในกรุงเทพฯ
