Ruangsak Anuwatwimon is a contemporary artist based in Bangkok, Thailand. He is passionate about art, nature, and the future of human evolution. Through his works, which usually consider a regeneration of the sculpture concept, Anuwatwimon questions how humans resolve current problems faced. In Ash Heart Project, a total of 270 heart-shaped sculptures were made of ashes from 270 different species, where most specimens were found in the surrounding area. In his on-going project called GOLEM, the concept stems from a construction of a utopian human being whose parts are made from ashes of animals and plants. His ash project reflects on the protagonist relationship humans have with our natural world. Anuwatwimon employs diverse mediums to express his ideas and challenge the perimeters of what constitutes an artwork. His conceptual projects explore social, cultural, and moral grounds of human societies. He has taken up residencies in different countries in Europe and Asia to research on the cultural and natural ecology of each place, collecting specimens for his projects. He has exhibited his works locally and internationally, recently at the 11th Taipei Biennial (2018) and at the Singapore Biennale 2019.

เรืองศักดิ์ อนุวัตรวิมล เป็นศิลปินร่วมสมัย มีถิ่นพำนักอยู่ที่กรุงเทพฯ เขามีความสนใจอย่างลึกซึ้งเกี่ยวกับศิลปะ ธรรมชาติ และวิวัฒนาการของมนุษย์ในอนาคต เรืองศักดิ์สนใจแนวคิดการฟื้นตัวขึ้นใหม่ของประติมากรรมซึ่งสะท้อนผ่านผลงานของเขา และตั้งคำถามถึงการจัดการกับปัญหาในปัจจุบันของมนุษย์ ในโครงการ Ash Heart ประติมากรรมรูปหัวใจ 270 ชิ้นถูกหลอมขึ้นจากขี้เถ้าที่ได้จากสิ่งมีชีวิต 270 สายพันธุ์ ที่พบตัวอย่างในบริเวณต่างๆ เขายังทำงานโครงการ GOLEM อย่างต่อเนื่อง แนวคิด GOLEM เกิดขึ้นจากการสร้างมนุษย์อุดมคติ ที่ประกอบด้วยส่วนต่างๆ จากขี้เถ้าของสัตว์และพืช โครงการนี้สะท้อนให้เห็นความสัมพันธ์ที่มนุษย์มีบทบาทอย่างสำคัญต่อธรรมชาติ เรืองศักดิ์ใช้สื่อที่หลากหลายในการแสดงออกทางความคิดและยังท้าทายขอบเขตของการทำงานศิลปะอีกด้วย โครงการเชิงแนวคิดของเขาสำรวจพื้นที่เชิงสังคม วัฒนธรรม และจริยธรรมของสังคมมนุษย์ เขาใช้เวลาเป็นศิลปินในพำนักที่ประเทศต่างๆ ทั้งในยุโรปและเอเชีย เพื่อทำการวิจัยเกี่ยวกับนิเวศวิทยาวัฒนธรรมและระบบนิเวศทางธรรมชาติของแต่ละพื้นที่ รวมทั้งเก็บรวบรวมตัวอย่างต่างๆ เพื่อใช้ในงานของเขา เรืองศักดิ์มีผลงานจัดแสดงทั้งในและต่างประเทศ เมื่อเร็วๆ นี้ เขาเข้าร่วมแสดงผลงานใน Taipei Biennial ครั้งที่ 11 (พ.ศ. 2561) และ Singapore Biennale (พ.ศ. 2562)
