Yanakorn Sinvatcharaporn’s works deal directly with the conditions of his personal experiences, from the objects he’s attached to, the way of life in his hometown and in a big city, his feelings toward people in urban and rural societies, nature, to his close personal relationships. He turns these subjects into sculptures through intricate carvings, transforming existing objects to change their context and create new meaning.
In BAB 2020, Sinvatcharaporn carves old wooden railings into a latch on a window to describe his relationship to the past. He uses dry moss from Suan Lum in Bangkok to draw the connection to the children who were playing in the pond and collected the moss for him. He uses the fertilizer his father made from composting that reveals the whole life cycle of earthworms. He collects and puts on display the cocoons of clothes moths from the walls of his house. Sinvatcharaporn uses his own stories and his connections to everyday objects to construct subtle conversations about materials as they appear. The connections to small, seemingly worthless objects hold abstract meaning that weighs on memories. The observation and consideration of minute objects are like looking at a distant star in the vast universe, forging an imprint on his feelings.

ผลงานใน BAB 2020 ญาณากร ใช้ตั้งแต่ราวบันไดไม้เก่าที่แกะสลักให้กลายเป็นกลอนประตู บานพับหน้าต่างเพื่ออธิบายความสัมพันธ์ของตัวเองกับของเก่า หรือการนำตะไคร่น้ำตากแห้งจากสวนลุมฯ ในกรุงเทพฯ เพื่อสื่อสารถึงความสัมพันธ์ของเขากับเด็กในสวนลุมฯ ที่ลงไปเล่นน้ำและเก็บตะไคร่มาให้ นอกจากนี้ยังนำปุ๋ยหมักของพ่อที่เกิดจากวงจรชีวิตของหนอนตั้งแต่เกิดจนตาย การนำดินที่พ่อขุดขึ้นมาสร้างเป็นผลงาน หรือนำแผ่นเจลลดไข้มาถอดรื้อชิ้นส่วนและสร้างเป็นผลงานเพื่อสื่อสารถึงการเยียวยารักษาตัวเอง ตลอดจนการนำรังของหนอนปลอกที่ถูกสร้างตามธรรมชาติและแอบซ่อนอยู่ตามผนังบ้านของเขามานำเสนอในห้องแสดงงานอีกด้วย ญาณากรใช้เรื่องราวของตัวเขากับสิ่งสามัญที่คุ้นเคยและปรากฏอยู่ในชีวิตประจำวันมาสร้างบทสนทนาบนความบอบบางของวัตถุที่ยังแสดงตัวตนอย่างเด่นชัดและตรงไปตรงมา ความสัมพันธ์ของสิ่งเล็กๆ ที่ดูไร้ค่ากลับก่อความหมายในเชิงนามธรรมที่มีผลต่อความทรงจำ การสังเกตและพิจารณาสิ่งเล็กน้อยคล้ายกับการมองเข้าไปยังหน่วยย่อยของดวงดาวเล็กๆ ในจักรวาลขนาดใหญ่ ซึ่งมีผลต่อความรู้สึกโดยตรงของเขาเอง
