Farhana Islam Tani b. 1987, Chittagong, Bangladesh Lives and works in Dhaka, Bangladesh
Farhana Islam Tani is an interdisciplinary artist working with installation and video art. Her influence in art comes from the women in her own family. She uses various materials and Bangladeshi cultural contents to make her artworks. Tani has participated in several group exhibitions in Bangladesh, China, France, and the USA.
Tani participated in the 31st Festival Les Instants Vidéo (Marseille, 2018). Moreover, she has participated in art workshops and residencies in Greece, China, and Malaysia. She has a Post Baccalaureate certificate in Fine Art from Maryland Institute College of Art, USA and completed her MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art. She has won the George Thomas Williams Scholarship and Carol Goldrath Memorial Scholarship during her studies.

ฟาร์ฮานา อิสลาม ตานี เป็นศิลปินข้ามแขนงผู้สร้างผลงานศิลปะจัดวางและวิดีโอ เธอได้รับอิทธิพลทางศิลปะจากผู้หญิงในครอบครัวของตัวเอง เธอเลือกใช้วัตถุดิบและเนื้อหาจากวัฒนธรรมบังกลาเทศในการสร้างผลงานศิลปะ และได้ร่วมแสดงผลงานในนิทรรศการกลุ่มในหลายประเทศ เช่น บังกลาเทศ จีน ฝรั่งเศส และสหรัฐฯ
ฟาร์ฮานาได้เข้าร่วมเทศกาลวิดีโอ Festival Les Instants Vidéo ครั้งที่ 31 (มาร์แซย์, พ.ศ. 2561) นอกจากนี้ เธอยังได้เข้าร่วมเวิร์กชอปและโครงการศิลปินในพำนักในประเทศกรีก จีน และมาเลเซีย เธอสำเร็จการศึกษาต่อหลังปริญญาตรีจาก Maryland Institute College of Art และได้รับปริญญาศิลปมหาบัณฑิตจาก Cranbrook Academy of Art ในสหรัฐฯ ในช่วงระหว่างการศึกษา เธอเป็นผู้ชนะทุนการศึกษาจาก George Thomas Williams Scholarship และ Carol Goldrath Memorial Scholarship
