Rungruang Sittirerk graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Sculpture) from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang University, Thailand in 2010, and received his Master of Fine Arts (Visual Art) from Silpakorn University in 2015. Moving from place to place during his childhood draws up Sittirerk's interests in creating the art about how people move and migrate. His works focus on modern capitalism and globalization that is related to the historical content. He connects things, narratives, legends, and reality that the audience or his experience that must be faced. Sittirerk was chosen as a young artist in the Brand New Art Project art, curated by Herman Ou which is exhibited at Bangkok University Gallery (BUG, Bangkok, 2018) and in the same year he was selected to participate in the EARLY YEARS PROJECT at the Bangkok Art Gallery (BACC, Bangkok, 2018). And other exhibitions such as Seven Master Samurai project exhibited at the Art Center (Chiang Mai Art Center, Chiang Mai, 2019), Jaras light fest exhibition at Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC, Bangkok, 2020)

อาศัยและทำงานอยู่ที่ กรุงเทพฯ ประเทศไทย
รุ่งเรืองจบการศึกษาปริญญาตรีทางด้านศิลปะจาก สถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าคุณทหารลาดกระบัง และจบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาโทที่มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร การเดินทางโยกย้ายที่อยู่บ่อยครั้งในวัยเด็กจนโตด้วยเงื่อนไขทางครอบครัว ทำให้รุ่งเรืองมีความสนใจในประเด็นที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการเดินทางของผู้คนจากชนบทมาสู่เมือง ผลงานของเขามุ่งสำรวจไปที่ระบบทุนนิยมสมัยใหม่และ โลกโลกาภิวัตน์ ที่เกี่ยวโยงไปถึงเนื้อหาทางประวัติศาสตร์ เขาเชื่อมโยงสิ่งต่าง ๆ ผ่านเรื่องเล่า ตำนาน และความเป็นจริงที่ผู้ชม หรือตัวของเขาเองที่ต้องเผชิญ ผลงานของรุ่งเรือง ถูกจัดแสดงทั้งในและต่างประเทศ ในปี พ.ศ. 2561ได้รับเลือกเป็นศิลปินรุ่นใหม่ในโครงการ Brand New Art Project จัดแสดง ณ หอศิลป์มหาวิทยาลัยกรุงเทพกล้วยน้ำไทย (BUG) และในปีเดียวกันยังถูกคัดเลือกเข้าร่วมโครงการ EARLY YEARS PROJECT ที่หอศิลปวัฒนธรรมแห่งกรุงเทพมหานคร (BACC) (กรุงเทพฯ, พ.ศ. 2561) และงานอื่น ๆ เช่นโครงการเจ็ดเซียนซามูไร ที่จัดแสดง ณ หอศิลป์บ้านตึก Art Center (เชียงใหม่, พ.ศ. 2562), โครงการศิลปะจัดวาง จรัส Light Fest ศิลปะจัดวางโดยใช้พลังงานจากแสงของดวงอาทิตย์ จัดแสดง ณ ลานหน้าหอศิลปวัฒนธรรมแห่งกรุงเทพมหานคร (หอศิลปกรุงเทพฯ, พ.ศ. 2563)
