In BAB 2020, Puengkasemsomboon presents escape as a metaphor of sins and danger created by human. By using the idiom nea sua pa chorakhae (Jump out of the frying pan into the fire). His work exposes climate catastrophes and the devastation of the environment by rapid technological advancement that has taken control of the planet. The canvas is hung to roughly create a room. The images on the canvas are of a warming planet, enormous waste, and an environment increasingly toxic. The crocodile sculptures invite viewers to venture into a dangerous world of satire and parody, with objects like an abstract sculpture shaped like a fishing tool made with large steel frames but used to fish out plastic waste rather than marine life. Puengkasemsomboon specializes in transforming waste materials into art and this work directly addresses the problem of waste and recycling. In creating art from discarded materials, he conceives new beauty and meaning.
ในงาน BAB 2020 ผลงานของไทวิจิต นำเสนอการหนีเอาชีวิตรอดเป็นอุปลักษณ์ของบาปและภยันตรายที่มนุษย์สร้างขึ้น ด้วยการใช้สำนวน หนีเสือปะจระเข้ อรรถาธิบายถึงหายนะของโลกและสิ่งแวดล้อมที่กำลังถูกทำลายลงอย่างย่อยยับจากการพัฒนาก้าวกระโดดของมนุษย์กับเทคโนโลยีที่ควบคุมโลกใบนี้อย่างเบ็ดเสร็จ งานจิตรกรรมบนผ้าใบถูกสร้างเป็นห้องอย่างหยาบๆ ภาพบนผ้าใบซึ่งมีต้นแบบมาจากภาพที่กำลังแสดงถึงภาวะโลกร้อน ขยะมหาศาล สิ่งแวดล้อมเป็นพิษ นอกจากนี้ยังมีประติมากรรมรูปจระเข้หลายตัวที่ชี้ชวนผู้ชมให้เข้าไปเดินท่องโลกแห่งภยันอันตรายในเชิงล้อเลียน เสียดสี และประติมากรรมกึ่งนามธรรมที่สร้างด้วยโครงเหล็กขนาดใหญ่รูปร่างคล้ายเครื่องมือจับปลาจากวัฒนธรรมชนบท เพียงแต่เปลี่ยนการดักปลาเป็นการดักขยะพลาสติกแทน ไทวิจิตเชี่ยวชาญในการนำสิ่งของเหลือทิ้งมาสร้างงานศิลปะ และดูเหมือนงานนี้จะตอบโจทย์ในการพลิกผันสิ่งเหลือทิ้งให้กลับมาพูดถึงสิ่งที่มันเป็นอีกครั้ง ทว่าเปลี่ยนบริบทมันไปสู่ปลายทางแห่งความงามและความหมายใหม่
