Batjargal’s paintings, sculpture and video (the latter in collaboration with Nomin Bold) presented on BAB 2020 comprises the preservation of Mongolian culture. In Alpha (Wolf) (2019), the wolf totem denotes masculinity, power and shamanistic rituals — dressed in camouflage army costume with bow and arrows, the wolf god stands like a brave warrior. In Mars Aliens (2020), the rat god with Mickey Mouse ears is surrounded by rodents celebrating an orgy of death and suffering. And finally, the video Davaa, Myagmar, Lhagva, Purev, Baasan, Byambo and Nyamand Davaa (2019) in collaboration with Nomin Bold shows images of wolf hunting portraying Mongolian shamanism.
