Pusiri explained that "When we think of the word ‘peeking’, we usually think of looking through a keyhole which suggests a sense of wanting to know other people’s secrets (both friends and strangers)." and added that "Being nosey is an inborn human trait. Because we are social creatures, it is in our genes to want to know about the lives of others. People are always curious about something that is hidden, a kept secret, or something they want to see but cannot be seen. When the curiosity reaches a certain point, that's when we tend to start prying." This is the main idea behind Pusiri's latest project Peek! (2020) in which he sets up his photographic image in a box to let the viewers peek through the keyhole as to see only a fraction of the story and due to this incomplete information, one could end up misinterpreting everything altogether. This work is therefore a reflection of social media that can convey so many misleading information in today’s world as a result of being misinterpreted according to the viewer or voyeur's own imagination.
